An International traditional karate tournament was held April 17th at Givat-Shmuel, with the support of the municipality and the mayor.
4 countries participated in the tournament: Czech Repulic, Lithuania, Uzbekistan and Israel.
The tournament was held in 2 categories: Individuale kata and kumite (sparing).
Israel was represented by 6 competitors, all members of the Israeli national team, trained by the team coach - sensei Moshe Rokah.
In Kumite : Shai Camerini and Ilya Sakharov.
In Ind.Kata : Sensei Yossi Shor, sensei Reuven Sharf, Boris Kirzner and Ben Wollkowicz.
Sensei Reuven Sharf won 1st place in Ind.Kata and Boris Kirzner won 4th place at the same category.
